Re: social outlets/groups/etc
Thu, February 2, 2006 - 5:30 PMI find my social circle is smaller, and I don't really belong to other ones aside from web, which isn't a real outlet/group. But it's good you bring up the topic, because I'm always finding excuses to not be in these groups, when I ought to. Well, I joined the gym, I suppose that counts for something...

Re: social outlets/groups/etc
Fri, February 3, 2006 - 6:57 AMI just moved to Miami about 18 months ago to live with my boyfriend.
I have gone to some things, but nothing consistently. For a while I was attending the monthly meetings of the south FL astrological assoc. and the I went to the local Mac users group for a while, but it seems that since I started working full-time again that free time is at a premium.

Re: social outlets/groups/etc
Wed, November 1, 2006 - 1:51 PMLately, I've been hanging out with a gay martial arts group and a gay C&W dance place. I also hang with a Korean language dinner group. I'd like to find a German and/or Mandarin language group. And, I'd like to start volunteering with space exploration group. SETI or something... Gotta love living near Sillycon Valley.

Four solid hours of geekiness! No movie, no political agenda, no books to read, no tickets to purchase.
We will be taking suggestions for new events, and revealing some upcoming events for the next few months.
Bring: your partner, spouse, best friend, closeted co-worker, Melissa Rivers, Paris Hilton, Ryan Seacrest, gym bunny, twink, bear, bad attitude, good intentions, an autographed photo of Goran Visnjic, Rosie O'Donnell, and your current political affiliation. -
