I'm looking to get a new scanner/fax/printer/copier combo. I checked out c/net for reviews but found many of them out of date. Zdnet looked good but limited. And I used Amazon for the first time until I learned a lot of the "reviews" were attacks from rivals.
Any other sources of info, both on-line and hardcopy?

Re: Review source
Wed, October 6, 2004 - 1:39 PMNot really a "source", but Dell's line of All-In-One printer/etc. is pretty nice. I just got the bottom of the line one (AIO920 I think) and it is very adequate.

Re: Review source
Wed, October 6, 2004 - 1:41 PMThere's always Tom's Hardware Guide.
Are you wanting this for general office use? Be careful in choosing something. I've found that these tend to be bad choices. The scanners tend to have fairly low resolution, the printers the same. If you want to be able to scan and print photos, I'd suggest seperate scanner and photo printer. There are some very good quality scanners and photo printers for way less than $100 each. Epson is by far the best photo printer I've found. I also like the Agfa scanners.
