MS has withdrawn support for gay rights ordinances in Seattle, coincidentally after meeting with a local pastor. From the article:
Dr. Hutcherson, pastor of the Antioch Bible Church, who has organized several rallies opposing same-sex marriage here and in Washington, D.C., said he threatened in those meetings to organize a national boycott of Microsoft products.
After that, "they backed off," the pastor said Thursday in a telephone interview. "I told them I was going to give them something to be afraid of Christians about," he said.

I think WE should be boycotting MS now.
What are your thoughts?

Re: Boycot MS
Fri, April 22, 2005 - 1:24 PMMicrosoft has employee who support gay rights. MS has a GLEAM (Gay Lesbian Employees At Miscrosoft).
Of course, it is sad to see a loss of support; but on the other hand, I don't want to see the corporation with all the bucks directly involved in any kind of political action. -

Re: Boycot MS
Fri, April 22, 2005 - 2:36 PMYou really have to lay this at Dr. Hutcherson's door, Microsoft for once are just trying to keep the peace, you could say that they chickened out, and you'd be right, but who has more power (be it political or commercial) in America? g, l, & b's or the church?

Re: Boycot MS
Mon, May 23, 2005 - 5:35 PMMicrosoft has been a leader in supporting gay rights for a LONG time - and while it is important to keep up the pressure, I think some groups over reated a bit on this one... Employees at MS themselves are leading this one - gay and straight. Why not show some positive support for them instead of running to the picket lines? -
